There are twelve authors. There is always a complement to the wide-eyed view of the world: seeing people from the point of view of their own activities and professions. Three of the authors are researchers: Raimund Ubar - a specialist in calculating machines, Kalju Laas - a population geographer and Enn Kreem - an astrophysicist; Luule Sirp and Johannes Undusk represent the Estonian Association for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries; Bruno Pao is a storekeeper, Rein Kallas is the production manager of Saare Kalur, Leonid Parashin works on the publishing committee; Harri Vilpart sings in the men's choir; Tiiu Voogla travelled as a construction worker; Mati Kalkun is a journalist and Vahur Raid is the director of exhibitions. The places between Antarctica and Saaremaa in the current collection are Austria, Belgium, Donbass, the Netherlands, Iceland, Jordan, Kamchatka, Courland, Cyprus, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Mexico, East Germany, West Germany, Syria, Taganrog and Chukotka.
