The first volume of this edition includes Hegel's early works (The Life of Jesus, The Spirit of Christianity and Its Destiny, A Fragment of the 1800 System) and the first part of his Lectures on the Philosophy of Religion. In the early works, the problems of reason and faith are dealt with. Early work introduces some important aspects of the formation of the Hegelian dialectic. The first part of the "Lectures ..." is devoted mainly to theoretical issues of religious thinking and the history of religious beliefs at the initial stages of development. All works are published in Russian for the first time.
