Loode-Eesti murdelood : Risti ja Harju-Madise

"The linguistic material of the "Northwest Estonian Dialect Stories" comes from 34 language informants in 21 villages of Risti and Harju-Madise parishes and was collected between 1957 and 1991.
The dialect stories contain ethnographic descriptions of rural life and work, folk medicine, beliefs, and cultural history from that time. It represents an authentic dialect that is no longer heard today. The linguistic overview highlights the peculiarities of the dialect and its connections with neighboring dialects and languages, followed by a dictionary.
