The first part of the book contains practical advice for establishing and maintaining lawns. It describes grass species suitable for our climate, soil preparation, soil cultivation, and the composition of grass seed mixtures.
The recommendations are based on both domestic and foreign literature, the experimental results of the Estonian SSR Academy of Sciences Tallinn Botanic Garden, and practical experience.
The second part provides a brief overview of the general condition of lawns studied in Estonia, their species composition, and the agrochemical properties of the soils
