Beautiful Mountains In the Jugoslav Alps

Published by The Jugoslav Bureau Split, (1931), 1st Edition Yugoslavia (though published earlier in the same year in the UK by Mercury Press Chelmsford), No D/w, V.G.   Fanny Copeland was a Scottish climber (actually born in Ireland) who spent 40 years in Jugoslavia, including the Nazi Occupation. Amongst her achievements was a record setting ascent of Triglav at the age of 86 and playing a part in the formation of what became the Kingdom of Yugoslavia post the First World War. She was a member of the Scottish Mountaineering Club, the Ski Club of Great Britain, and the British Alpine Club.  From the library of Geoff Milburn.
