Tartu Tähetorni kalender 2015. aastaks

Tartu Observatory Calendar is an Estonian-language serial publication issued annually from 1924 to the present day, with the exception of 1951. It was initiated by the astronomers of Tartu Observatory and continues to be published by the Tartu Observatory of the University of Tartu.

The publication traditionally contains a calendar with the times of sunrise and sunset of the Sun and Moon, an overview of astronomical events occurring during the current year (e.g. solar and lunar eclipses), and an introduction to the fundamentals of timekeeping. It provides information on the visibility of the planets, the Moon’s movements and its conjunctions with other celestial bodies, as well as the maxima and minima of brighter variable stars. The calendar also includes the geographical coordinates of cities in Estonia.
