Dialectics of Nature is an unfinished work by Friedrich Engels in which he applies dialectical materialism to natural science. Engels argues that nature develops through dialectical processes-contradictions, quantitative changes turning into qualitative ones, and the unity of opposites-showing that the same laws governing society and thought also operate in the natural world.
