Eesti erakonnad 2000-2010

The collection provides an overview of the activities of Estonian political parties over the past decade. It examines the development of parties, their memberships and supporters, considers their placement on the left–right spectrum, and analyzes their role as governing parties in Estonia.

The author has compared Estonian parties both with those in other countries and with relevant theoretical frameworks. What makes the fact-rich material engaging are the descriptions of the most significant political events up to the end of 2010, along with numerous charts and tables. Since the last such survey of Estonian parties was published in 1999, this collection serves as valuable reading for both politicians and voters alike.
