Bestiaarium

The Beastiary is Donika Kelly's first collection of poems with a mythological atmosphere. At the heart of the book is trauma and the recurring motif of transformation, the pain of becoming other. Kelly's poetic language is at once fragile and vulnerable, yet playful, allusive and sincere. This collection is a love letter of sorts to those struggling in the grip of anxiety, depression or trauma.
