RAMipalavik is the story of the professional men's choir founded by Gustav Ernesaks: a story of turbulent times and a glorious, though often thorny, journey to the very top of the stage, but also of everything that happened behind the scenes — incidents, adventures, mishaps, blunders, awkward situations, and ways of getting out of them.

Anyone who has seen something of life can imagine what might happen to a seventy-member group of men during two or three months of travelling through the vast expanses of the Soviet Union.
