Adolf Vedro

Since A. Vedro’s creative legacy has so far received little attention, this monograph seeks to briefly address all the musical genres he cultivated. The main focus, however, is on A. Vedro’s central work – the opera Kaupo. 

If this study succeeds in arousing interest in A. Vedro’s work and affirming the composer’s significance in the history of Estonian musical culture, it will have fulfilled its purpose.
