157, [3] p., ill.
Softcover ex-library book in good condition.
The aim of the present work is not to provide an exhaustive treatment of the composer's entire oeuvre, but first and foremost to fill an important gap in the theoretical analysis of Estonian music (especially the study of the national musical language) and to promote a deeper understanding and further study of the life's work of H. Eller as one of the great figures of Estonian classical music.
The work is based on the author's 1975-1977 dissertation "H. Eller's Harmony in the Light of Contemporary Harmonic Developments", written under the scientific supervision of Associate Professor Rein Laul of the Leningrad State Conservatoire.
