Ленинградцы в Испании : сборник воспоминаний

The heroic struggle of the Spanish people against the fascist rebels in 1936-1939 is one of the most exciting pages in history, the first armed battle between progressive forces and world fascism. Among the volunteers from 53 countries who came from all over the world to take part in this battle were Soviet people. The collection contains the memoirs of twenty-five Leningraders - pilots, tankers, military and merchant sailors, gunners, sappers, doctors, engineers, translators who participated in the national revolutionary war on Spanish soil, in the air and in the expanses of the Mediterranean Sea. The collection was prepared by the Leningrad section of volunteers - participants in the national revolutionary war in Spain at the Museum of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
