Reumatoloogia

Rheumatology is a part of internal medicine that deals with arthritis, osteoarthritis, systemic connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, extra-articular tissue damage, and bone metabolism diseases. The book presents the research methodology of rheumatic diseases, epidemiology of all major rheumatic diseases, etiopathogenesis, classifications, clinical picture, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. Separate chapters are dedicated to intra-articular injections and indications and possibilities for surgical treatment. Such comprehensive coverage of these diseases in Estonian is unprecedented. The book is suitable as a textbook for medical students, interns, and residents, and as a handbook for all physicians, especially internists and general practitioners.
