The textbook is based on lectures that the authors have delivered for many years at Tallinn University of Technology to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students. The book provides an elementary-level overview of applications of mathematics primarily in economics, but also in engineering, logistics, management, and other fields. Practice exercises are included for each topic, and the answers can be found at the end of the book.

The textbook may be used by all students interested in mathematics as an introductory guide to the various applications of mathematics.
