Eesti ta-, tä-verbide konsonantsest liitumisest

The problem of consonant assimilation in suffixes in Estonian and related languages is already broadly recognized. This study primarily addresses the issue of consonant assimilation in verb suffixes with the ta- and tä- elements following a long initial syllable in Estonian. It excludes verbs with a short initial syllable followed by the ta- and tä- elements, which do not share common representative relationships or a sufficient degree of common types of prevalence relationships with the verbs under consideration in this study.
