Language surveys in developing nations : papers and reports on sociolinguistic surveys

The book is the outcome of a small conference on sociolinguistically oriented language surveys which the Center for Applied Linguistics organized. It was held on September 6 and 7, 1971. The papers in this volume represent a selection of those prepared for the conference and a few others.
