This collection continues EFTÜ's tradition of publishing the best part of research articles by young researchers. Publishing in this and previous collections is certainly one of the first steps for the authors in publishing their scientific works. Having familiarized myself with the results of the research presented in the articles in the collection, I dare to confirm that it is a high-quality humanities science, which in all cases adds new knowledge to the existing one. Most of the works collected in the collection could also be published in Vikerkaare, Akadeemia or the Yearbook of Applied Linguistics. It can certainly be assumed that some of the articles published in the collection will be cited by other researchers. From the review of the collection by Martin Ehala, professor of mother tongue education at the University of Tartu, Estonian Philology Scientific Student Society (EFTÜ) is a society operating in the Institute of Estonian Language and Culture of Tallinn University, which unites students and lecturers of the institute. The purpose of the society is to provide students interested in research with professional communication and to give them research experience. One of the most important outputs of EFTÜ is the student conference organized every year on Mother Language Day, several articles in this collection have been prepared based on the presentations.
