Eesti Rakenduslingvistika Ühingu Aastaraamat IX : Estonian Papers in Applied Linguistics IX

The journal publishes articles on various fields of applied linguistics (foreign language learning and learning Estonian as a second language, studies of contrastive grammar, language technology, lexicology and lexicography, terminology of different fields, translation, language policy, assessment and error analysis, language care and language organization are the most important in Estonia), which also have applied and theoretical weight.

Articles that, regardless of theoretical starting points, exemplify more general language developments and trends based on local language use, language learning and teaching, computer linguistics, etc. Conscious development of all the mentioned areas is crucial from the point of view of the good progress of the Estonian language, therefore it is important to encourage authors to work in the mentioned areas and to publish research results.
