The purpose of this collection is to address issues related to the current Estonian judicial system and judicial proceedings. Judicial independence is an essential prerequisite for the effective functioning of the court system.

In around ten articles, opinions are presented by the Ministry of Justice, the judiciary, practicing lawyers, and legal scholars, providing readers with a basis on which to form their own viewpoints.
