This compilation has been created to value and interpret family history that connects the Estonian EKB congregations. Over more than 125 years, these congregations have encompassed developments and transformations, traditions and real life. The reader gains an understanding of a vibrant Estonian religious movement characterized by its diversity and sense of belonging. The family model of EKB congregations, influenced by the lives and beliefs of Estonian Lutherans, Baptists, Evangelical Christians, and Pentecostals, is rich in internal substance. The relationships among them vividly highlight the treasures embedded in communal life. Additionally, there is more to life than mere existence. Thus, all areas of life and service are characterized by dynamism, not the status quo. Every human life is developmental. Every congregation is on a journey. Moreover, one can observe familial similarities emerging across all individuals and situations. Distinctive features and unique events narrate a larger and more continuous story than they themselves can tell.
