An overview of the Soviet Science for the anniversary of the 60th birthday of the USSR (1922-1982). The book is divided into two parts - the first one tackles different fields of science. This includes technology, sociology, space and so on. The second part looks at each Soviet Socialist Republic on their own and analyzes the different prospects and advantages each part of the Soviet Union has for advancement.
