Paised : [jutustused]

Initially (1899-1901), the first four stories here were published under the name "Paised", as well as 1920-1921. Reprinted later (1945) a fifth was added to them, and in 1958 the author added the last two to the previous ones.

The stories gathered under the general name "Paised" form the most significant part of the author's socially critical creations next to "Rahvavalgustaja" and belong to the hardware of Estonian critical realism.

This collection of stories is published on the occasion of the 90th birthday of the old master of Estonian literature.
