This book tells the story of the Ingrian Finns from the mid-twentieth century to the present day. The story is recounted by the Ingrian Finns themselves through their life histories. The author has analysed and interpreted these narratives, highlighting the central themes of Ingrian Finnish life stories and seeking to answer why certain periods of life remain untold. Finally, the book explores what Ingria means to Ingrian Finns today.
