“Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee” was published in 1970. In it, author Dee Brown critically describes the effects of the resettlement of Native Americans in America in the late 19th century. In his work, Brown attempts to describe events from the perspective of the Indians. Dee Brown’s book opened the eyes of an entire generation to the struggle of Indians for survival in the light of the “white man’s” plans for world conquest.
