«Scandinavian Collection» is organized on the initiative of the Department of General History of Tartu State University. He sets himself the task of bringing together in one collection the scientific researches of Soviet historians-Scandinavians of the most diverse profile on foreign and domestic politics, economy, culture, law, language, literature and art history, archeology and ethnography.

The articles are in Russian and have short summaries in Estonian and Swedish.
