Women in the Estonian War of Independence, 1918–1920 is a historical memoir compiled and published in 1998 by Anto Juske, an Estonian engineer and local historian.

This 167-page work brings together valuable memoirs, articles, documents, and photographs documenting the heroic contribution of women to the most important war in the history of the birth of the Estonian state.

War is often regarded as the domain of men alone, but Anto Juske’s book proves otherwise. Women played an enormous and indispensable role in defending Estonia’s freedom.
