Walter Kremser (1909-2000) was a German author, historian, and forestry expert. He was born in Tartu, Estonia, and became known for his significant contributions to the study of forestry history. His works include over 150 titles, covering books and scholarly articles, with notable publications such as Niedersächsische Forstgeschichte (1990), a comprehensive work on the forestry history of Lower Saxony, and Epochen der Forstgeschichte Estlands (1998), which focused on the forestry history of Estonia.
