"Vapilõvi" is an extraordinary story about the Estonian president. It is something more - a window into being the president of Estonia.

Honest, unadorned. Understandable.

To write it, I accompanied President Kersti Kaljulaid for several years and recorded everything with my phone, both publicly and secretly.

On these recordings, I hear the president laughing, angry, I hear him happy and scared. I can even hear him swearing. As a real person.
