The memories of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs employees. The goal of the book is not only to preserve the past but also to remind how fragile the statehood of Estonia was just a short time ago. In compiling the collection, the principle has been followed that the book includes stories from every foreign mission where a diplomat from Estonia was sent. Writings about the main building are awaiting their turn. The editorial team has verified the information presented in the articles to the extent possible, but the collection does not adhere to the requirements of intentional research. The collection also does not offer a comprehensive treatment of the subject but is rather a selection of pictures, moments, and immediate impressions.
The book contains memories that narrate the history of our foreign missions during the restoration of independence and thereafter.
