Christian Friedrich Hebbel (18 March 1813 – 13 December 1863) was a German poet and dramatist who won the prestigious Schiller prize.

Carl Theodor Körner (1791-1813) was a German writer and freedom fighter. Through his patriotic poems and his early death as a member of the Lützow Freikorps in the wars of liberation, he became a national leading figure. His best-known works include the poem "Lützows wilde Jagd" and the collection "Leier und Schwert".
