It is a continuation of the previously published work Steel Structures I and appears as part of a series of books on building structures prepared under the general editorship of Prof. H. Laul.

The book is intended as a textbook for students of industrial and civil engineering and can also be used as a reference manual by civil engineers and technicians, as well as a study aid for students of technical colleges.
