Siberi-raamat

The author tells the story of her own and her children's deportation to Siberia. She describes in detail and with great information the Siberian Old Believer village and the people there. Through dozens of small portraits, primitive conditions, great poverty, life on the verge of starvation are revealed. The author, who has no illusions about the system, and whose victims include the local population, still manages to maintain a non-bitter attitude.
