Päevaraamat 1901-1964

Aino Suits (1884-1969) kept a diary from 1901 to 1964: so with small breaks from his early youth until he was 80 years old. Diaries are on the one hand a document and on the other a literary work - they are both. This is the book of one woman's life, as such a piece of the increasingly distant past. It is also part of the biography of the Estonian poet Gustav Suits. Only the diary from the Tartu period, which was burned together with the Suits archive in the war summer of 1941, has not survived from this long monologue.
