In the third part of the memoirs, the author has reached the time when his studies have been completed and he had to "step into life" in order to achieve the goals he had set for himself. The road led the author through Palamus and Pärnu to Laius, the profession for which he was prepared. The pages of this volume reflect the life and situation in the Baltic in the first two decades of the 20th century. However, the teacher's activities in Laius, the events, institutions and people there did not fit into the framework of this review.
