The need to introduce Estonian antiquities and related conservation issues to a wide audience motivated the writing of this book so that every person would understand the scientific value of artifacts and know how to handle their discovery. The book provides a brief overview of the history of archaeological sciences in Estonia. It examines the settlements and characteristic artifacts of each county in our republic.
