Armas aeg

The debut novel of twin brothers with a background in biology, born in 1943, is set in the second half of the 1960s in Tartu. The protagonist, having returned from military service to continue his university studies, has discovered the value of time and become convinced that youth is the prime period for generating great scientific ideas. His maximalist desire to achieve something meaningful as early as possible comes into conflict with the realities of life: talent, the personalities and beliefs of others, love, and danger.
